Web & Digital Presence

During my internship and thanks to my own interest, I have worked on two websites. This helped me understand how to build one as well as how to improve its visibility by using keywords and understanding how SEO works. In fact, a website that isn’t visited isn’t very useful.

Master’s Programme Websites

During my Master’s, I did an internship at CBMN, where we had to create two tabs explaining the Pharmacy Master’s degree offered by the institute. The challenge was how to implement them into the website since it was also a partnership with the University of Bordeaux.

The choice was to create a separate website that could be linked to the main website page. The idea was to have a space dedicated to explaining how the Master’s degrees worked, what students could expect from the programme, and to encourage them to enrol.

Artist Roland Cerro’s Website

Roland Cerro is a painter who needed a website to present his work. Since he was attending different exhibitions, people often asked if there was a way to contact him or see more of his art. He didn’t want an online shop but rather a space where people could view his work, reach out to him, and have a link to include on his business cards.

I created a website that followed his requests while also developing a sort of branding for him to be easily recognised. One of my main concerns was making sure the website appeared in search results when people looked for him online. I worked on finding the best combination of website name and content to ensure he appeared at the top when searching for “Roland Cerro” on Google—without having to pay for sponsored ads. Since he was based in France, the goal was to prioritise Google.fr to make the job easier.
